The Balance Group
The Balance Group is led by internationally trained physiotherapists and offers a wide range of services including physiotherapy, biokinetics, yoga, massage and personal training.
Our approach is to heal the body through movement and we have found that yoga is one of the fundamental movements that benefit a wide range of our clients.
Led by Toni-Lynne Monger (physiotherapist) and Will Lindeque (yoga instructor) our one on one yoga sessions and group classes are individualised and personal. Balance Group is the place to come to improve aches and pains through movement, but also for those who want to deepen their practice and bring it to the next level.
At Balance, Yoga Teachers will work closely with the Physiotherapists to know each clients individual weaknesses and stiffnesses and adapt the postures to help prevent injury and promote recovery. By just changing postures slightly, they can become more accessible for those with injuries and stiffness. Our bodies are all different and how we implement postures depends on what biomechanics we have. By having the yoga teacher and the physiotherapist work closely together we reduce the chance of repeat injuries occurring.
