Over 25 years practicing yoga | Over 4 years teaching yoga
Nicola was drawn towards a spiritual way of living and mind body connection. She loved yoga right from the start, exploring many different styles. It wasn’t until a couple of years later that Nicola started practicing Vinyasa and Hatha yoga and the fluidity, beauty and meditative qualities captured her heart. Nicola had no intentions of teaching yoga. She wanted to immerse herself in training to deepen her own personal practice. Little did she know the universe had other plans.
Nicola has been taught by many amazing teachers and is always learning and expanding her experience and knowledge of this lifelong practice. As her practice has evolved, so has her teaching. Nicola not only teaches group classes incorporating intelligent and invigorating sequencing, good music and calming energy, but also works one-on-one for those wanting focused attention
She uses yoga as a tool to help address, assess and work through physical injuries and imbalances and foster a greater sense of awareness, healing and balance in the body and mind. She consistently continues her yoga education. Nicola teaches online, and at various studios ... wherever the opportunity comes up for her to share her love of yoga with others.
In her free time you will find her in her art studio, reading, walking, traveling with her family, or somewhere near the sea enjoying the beauty and experiences this world has to offer.

Bachelor of Business Science (Honours Industrial Psychology) (UCT)
200 hour RYT (The Wellness Connection, 2020)
300 hour RYT (The Wellness Connection, 2023)
20 hour Aerial Yoga Training (The Wellness Connection, 2024)
