A Glimpse into the Experience of Lockdown for Children from Under-resourced Communities | Earthchild Project
The intention for this podcast is to give a voice from the children regarding lockdown during the Covid19 pandemic. While there are a lot of voices and opinions currently being circulated, there are very few from children. We would like to give the Earthchildren a platform to share their experiences and their ideas.
In addition to this, a lot of messages on social media about the impact of lockdown are showing the experience of relatively privileged people who are able to use this time productively, working from home and spending time with their families. The truth is that there are a lot of people in South Africa who are experiencing a very different side to the lockdown right now.
