Annindita Hoque
About:
My name is Annindita Hoque which means "The beautiful truth". I pride myself on being authentic and congruent towards everyone I meet. My training as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Johannesburg has helped me formulate an understanding of the diversity that is humanity. As a result, I aim to use the platform of Yoga as an alternative therapeutic modality to facilitate physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being.
In the Yogic framework, individuals are seen as holistic, well-rounded and integrated human beings. When there is an imbalance or disconnect in the integration of the self and their external environment, it results in dis-ease in the mind and body. This is where the therapeutic applications of Yoga comes into play. I personally have benefited greatly from Yoga and wish to provide this accessible opportunity to others.
