Online Yin Yoga with Nyaki

Join Nyaki for this first intimate, online gathering for 2022 with the extended HeartSpaceNation community.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, therapeutic style of yoga, where postures are mainly done on the floor either seated or lying down, and held for 3-5 minutes. Time spent in these postures is quite meditative, as the mind shifts from yang (movement & heating the body) to yin (stillness & cooling the body). We need both the yin and the yang to maintain balance - but a lot of us find ourselves stuck in yang energy, unable to unwind or relax.

This 75 minute class will help you to stretch away all the stress from the day, and replace it with relaxation and stillness to gently ease into your evening.

All levels welcome. All you'll need is your mat and optional props (Yoga strap & Blocks). Please ensure your camera is on so that the instructor can best assist you.

I fell in love with Yoga 5 years ago when I began my journey towards self-discovery. What started as a transition to a plant-based lifestyle led to me registering for my first YTT in 2020 with Tegan Burger. Yoga has transformed my life and put me on the path towards self-awareness and healing.

I'm passionate about sharing this lifestyle and empowering people to take their health and wellness into their own hands. I'm a Holistic Wellness Advocate and Coach and assist people to realise their full potential both on and off the mat.

In addition to teaching Asana (Vinyasa, Yin & Power Yoga), I also teach Pranayama and Meditation. I believe that health, prosperity, peace and abundance are our birthrights, and aim to share this through this beautiful Yoga practice.
