Spend a weekend with Alé learning about human physiology and anatomy and how to incorporate this into your teaching. Alé is a certified yoga teacher, and has a PhD in Exercise Physiology with over 10 years experience, and has lectured physiology and anatomy at Wits and UJ.

- Exercise Physiology
- Mind and body control
- Muscular-skeletal system in movement
- Correct terminology for alignment cues
- Yoga philosophy and physiology
- Physiology of pranayama
- Diet and metabolism
- Science of yoga

This weekend course is for teachers wanting to advance their understanding of the human body and how yoga can improve body function.

Upon completion of this weekend you will have a better understanding of how yoga influences human physiology and how anatomy influences alignment. You will know how to incorporate this knowledge into your teaching in order to deliver more effective and advanced classes.

Alé has a PhD in Exercise Physiology, and works as a scientist and researcher specialising in physical activity for health. She has spent her career learning about how the body works, and how best to move your body for optimum health and wellbeing.
