Escape to a haven of tranquility nestled in the heart of Stellenbosch. Our cozy retreat venue welcomes you with warmth in winter, to a crackling fireplace and an intimate ambiance, perfect for deepening your yoga practice and reconnecting with yourself.

We offer a curated program of foundational yoga workshops and meditation, led by the power of breath in guided sessions. Experience the gentle flow of Qigong practice, delve into the devotional path of Bhakti Yoga, and engage in authentic relating circles to foster meaningful connections.

Experience the healing and nourishing benefits of Ayurvedic cooking - a snack will be served in the morning, later followed by lunch and an information session on the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.

Guided by three experienced yoga instructors and an Ayurveda specialist, each bringing their unique backgrounds and expertise in the sessions and practice offered at the retreat. Come join us on a meaningful exploration of self-discovery and renewal amidst the serene beauty of Stellenbosch.

All levels are welcome, with beginners encouraged to join for our focus on foundational yoga.

About Us: 

Victoria Albrektsen
Victoria's yoga and mindfulness journey began 17 years ago, and for the past decade, she has been fortunate sharing herknowledge and passion through teaching. Victoria's skill set covers mindful Yin and Bhakti yoga, as well as advanced studies in anatomy, yoga adjustments, functional yoga, and hip anatomy.
"Creating an environment that fosters a strong sense of community is something that deeply resonates with me. My style is influenced by the profound interconnectedness found in nature, everyday experiences, and the unending journey of self-discovery".

James Prain
James has a university background in sports science, psychology and education. He has taught yoga and gigong for over fifteen years, having trained under traditional masters in India and China, as well as studying with modern innovators in the United States, Australia and Bali. James generously shares his vast international experience with a refreshingly accessible authenticity. While his teaching is strongly rooted in physiology, he loves to breathe the mythical and philosophical aspects of practice into life through poetically embodied experience.

Lisa Kriek
Lisa holds dual qualifications as a certified yoga instructor. Her influences have been from Europe, India, Canada, and Japan. Specializing in Vinyasa Flow, her thoughtful and themed teachings integrate breath and movement. She has a particular affinity with introducing beginners to yoga.

Michele Mistry
Michele is an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Health Counsellor. She founded INDIKAAP Ayurveda in 2016, a food brand that helps people to redefine their relationship with food, by demystifying Ayurvedic wisdom into actionable tools to be applied to our lifestyle and food choices every day. At INDIKAAP Ayurveda, Michele offers consultations, cleanses and cooking classes and a range of food products, to meet the demands of a modern lifestyle.
