Arm Balance Workshop

Arm balances are empowering poses that teach us about our inner strenght and balance while reminding us about our playful side. They can be intimidating and while at first glance they seem to have mainly a strenght factor, the most important part to unlock these poses is the understanding of the mechanics and skills involved.

We will start with a quick introduction, followed by a Vinyasa Flow to prepare the body and the mind for the poses. In the second part of the workshop, we will explore the following poses individually: crow, side crow, hurdler, twisted hurdler (and 8 angle pose if time allows). We will learn how to get into the poses and try several variations, so that everyone, including complete beginners, can find what works best for their body.

My name is Lilly. I am a 200hrs certified yoga teacher and passionate about sharing my love for yoga. Arm balances have always been my favourite poses to play with. They are the perfect combination of strenght, skills, flexibility and FUN! My teaching style is informal, friendly, caring and with a touch of humour.
