CPT: Himalayan Sound Bath - Claremont

  • Avalon Ashram 11 Highwick Ave, Claremont, Cape Town, 7708 (map)

Join Gerrit Nitsche, Sound Meditation Teacher, Singing Bowl and Gong Master based in Nepal. for his South Africa Tour!

Sound Meditation is a meditation technique that brings deep physical and mental rest. For thousands of years, sound has been used in ancient cultures to shift the mind to higher states of awareness and promote overall wellbeing. Body and mind are submerged in sound and attune to the harmonising frequencies and vibrations produced by the Tibetan singing bowls. Brain waves slow down, affecting every cell in the body, shifting the whole being into a state of ease. Energy is moved through the seven energy centres, or chakras (base, sacral, navel, heart, throat, eyebrow center, crown) releasing blockages. Sound meditation is a wonderful tool to experience the transformative power of meditation.

”Gerrit’s Himalayan Sound Bath allow you to immerse in the vibrations of the Singing Bowls & Gongs, reconnecting to your spirit, the land and life-force. Sound vibrations from the Sound Bowls massage every cell in the body – inducing alpha brain waves patterns, helping you to access deeper spaces of meditation, your body intelligence and intuitive power. This creates life changing healing on a deep cellular level, literally shaking loose blocked energy in the physical, mental and spiritual bodies. From this deep place of awareness each person is self empowered to heal and make positive change.”
