about your host

Charney is an E-RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance International. She has been on the yoga path since walking into her first class when she was eighteen years old. Struggling with anxiety and depression she left that class for the first time feeling that she could breathe and that something in her had shifted and created space.
Ten years later she would embark on the journey of becoming a teacher of yoga taking her first teachers training at Ananda Kutir Ashram in Cape Town, where she received a well rounded and holistic grounding into the practice and it’s teachings.

Having since gone on to do training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Aerial Yoga and bodywork, she was guided to share this love of yoga with the younger generations by embarking on the journey of teaching yoga for kids.

Here she found her heart work, bringing well-being practices to kids and helping them to learn about their big emotions and how to hold and work with them, teaching them to breathe and how to keep their bodies and minds healthy inspired Om Kids Training and bringing this work to as many little souls as possible by teaching these practices to folks around the world.
