ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
Georgia runs a studio teaching Hatha, yin and aerial yoga in Sunset Beach, Cape Town. Yoga has been a part of her life for the last 18 years, she loves the journey that yoga brings - creating space in the body, mind and spirit. Aerial is one of her main teachings and she loves its ability to increase your strength, mobility and balance whilst being supported - also connecting us to our inner child.
Charney: Charney walked out of her first yoga class at 18 years old, and immediately felt a lightness of being that she had not experienced before. This encounter led her to join her first Yoga Teachers Training in 2007, and then from there she has explored many different styles of yoga and trained in a few modalities including Aerial Yoga. She draws deeply on the traditional teachings of yoga, years of experience and a deep understanding of the healing power that yoga carries, to weave together a holistic, safe and nurturing practice. Yoga for Charney is a journey, a deep dive down into the depths of ourselves, finding our breath, creating space in our bodies and minds both on and off the mat, and I embodies this in her teaching style.
