In this episode, Tarryn connects with Monique A. Rodgers, a South African born Integrative Movement and Mindfulness Teacher currently based in London.
Monique started to call herself an Integrative Movement and Mindfulness teacher when she noticed that many of her friends and family felt that they didn't identify with the yoga ideal. In this episode we discuss the "yoga ideal", what it means to be authentic and accessible as a teacher as well as what an Integrative Movement practice looks like.
"I want to show how yoga can be accessible for people who feel they can’t identify with the contemporary yoga image and I’m rooting it in mindfulness." - Monique
